Railyard Newsgroup
Current and soon-to-be Owners and renters may join the Railyard newsgroup, upon approval of newsgroup owners (Murray Freeman). The newsgroup is not moderated, and is for asking questions and sharing useful information with other members of the Railyard community. Contact the HOA or maintenance directly for issues relating directly to the management of the facility. Sending spam or flaming other newsgroup members will result in your removal from the group.
To join the newsgroup send an e-mail to railyard-subscribe@yahoogroups.com (the e-mail doesn't need to say anything, it can be blank if you like). After your approval, the Yahoo groups mailing list service may take a few hours to register you in the newsgroup. If you have trouble with subscribing, you may address questions to railyard-owner@yahoogroups.com.
You can view past posting to the website, and manage your account. E-mail you send must be from the address that you used to subscribe to the group. Yahoo doesn't "know" that you have another account. If Yahoo doesn't recognize your e- mail address, it will send back a message saying that your e-mail was rejected. If you don't seem to get a response to an e-mail, please check your spam box for responses.
If you join with a hotmail account, and you can't post messages or your posts come out blank, try this fix:
In the hotmail e-mail composer, open the dropdown list labeled "Tools" right above the message text area.
Select "Rich-Text Editor OFF" from the dropdown list.
If you join with a hotmail account, and can't see e-mail from the newsgroup, try this fix:
In Hotmail, click on "Options". The link is just to the right of the main tabs at the top of the screen.
Select "Safe List" in the "Mail Handling" column.
Add "railyard@yahoogroups.com" to the safe list and then click "Add" and then click "OK".
